Semi Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

Easy and delicious cinnamon rolls for those perfect weekend mornings! 

Ingredients

  • 3 rolls biscuit dough (7.5 oz each)
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • powdered sugar and milk for frosting

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Combine all the dough, roll into a large ball, and place in a greased bowl.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rest for 30 minutes. Roll the dough out into an 8×10 rectangle.
  4. In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, cinnamon, and sugar. Brush the mixture onto the dough. Roll up, starting from the long side.
  5. Cut into half-inch pieces and place in a greased cast-iron skillet, with the pieces gently touching. Bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Once cooled slightly, mix powdered sugar with a couple splashes of milk until you have a thick frosting. Pour over the cinnamon rolls and serve.
