- 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 3 bananas, make sure they’re very ripe)
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup sour cream (can substitute Greek yogurt)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas
- Add the eggs, melted butter, sugar, sour cream and vanilla and whisk to combine
- Add the four, baking powder and salt and mix until incorporated
- Fold in the chocolate chips, reserving a few for the top
- Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until browned. Use a wooden baking pick to make sure it comes out without batter sticking to it.
