1 tbsp
brown sugar
1/4 tsp
cinnamon
1/4
tso vanilla extract
2
eggs
1/3
cup
cream
1/2
low fat milk
butter for frying
maple syrup or powdered sugar for serving

Instructions
In a mixing bowl, add the sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, eggs, cream and milk and whisk until well combined
Cut the challah bread into 1/2 inch thick pieces
Turn a non stick or cast-iron skillet to medium low heat and add a pat of butter.
Dip the challah slices in the egg and milk mixture, one slice at a time. Immediately turn over and coat both sides before placing in the pan to cook
Cook for about 2 minutes, then flip and brown the other side before serving
